Privacy for WealthCheck Financial Planner

You can use WealthCheck Financial Planner with optional analytics turned off.

This disclosure supplements the Layer3Labs privacy policy.

Data Used to Run the App

Inputs you provide through ChatGPT or the widget are processed to perform the requested app function. Those inputs and the app results are not copied into this analytics system. ChatGPT handles your conversation under its own data controls.

Basic Server Usage

Layer3Labs records tool call times, success or error status and response duration. When OpenAI supplies an anonymous user or conversation identifier, it is hashed separately for each app before storage. These records measure calls and reliability. They do not show which pages you viewed or prove how many different people used the apps.

Optional App Analytics

Optional analytics are off until you select Allow Optional Analytics in Privacy and Usage Choices inside the app. If you allow them, Layer3Labs records approved screen, action and feature names, result and error events, event times, and random app-specific browser and session identifiers. Travel and packing destination topics are limited to recognized destination country codes. Games use fixed game names. Other apps record feature categories without your financial amounts, health measurements, item names or task text.

Analytics never include full conversations, raw searches, arbitrary input values, page query strings, email addresses, precise physical location, payment details or account credentials. Anonymous browser IDs are separate from OpenAI IDs and are not linked across apps.

Your Choices

Allow and decline buttons appear together. You can decline at any time without losing app features. Delete My Analytics removes optional events associated with this app and browser ID and turns optional analytics off. Deletion does not remove ChatGPT conversations, basic server records or another browser’s analytics. If deletion cannot be confirmed, the app shows a retry message. Refresh the app if its privacy request has expired.

Your browser stores your choice and, after opt-in, a random app-specific ID and a tab-session token. New tabs or widgets and blocked storage can create new sessions within one visit. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track disable optional collection. With storage blocked, preferences and IDs may last only until the widget closes. Clearing browser storage removes the local choice and ID but does not itself delete server records. Use Delete My Analytics before clearing storage.

Storage, Recipients and Retention

Layer3Labs uses Render to host these apps and Supabase to store private analytics. Usage records older than 90 days are deleted during periodic cleanup on scheduled app contact. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, including IP addresses and timestamps, under its own retention settings. Optional analytics do not store IP addresses or browser fingerprints and are not used for advertising or cross-app profiling.
